Autocase just crossed a key milestone: 10 years of pursuing our goal of changing the world using high quality, objective, transparent, and affordable economic analysis. Our aim was to better inform investments in the built environment. For our anniversary, we want to say Thank You for trusting us to deliver solutions that help you make the case for a more sustainable world.
Investments made in building and infrastructure projects have long-lasting implications. We understood that high performing projects are critical to a sustainable future. The inverse is true as projects that don’t consider the environment and society can haunt us for generations.
What started as a strategic partnership with Autodesk, a global leader in design technology, has grown into a community of decision makers that shape the performance of buildings and infrastructure worldwide. Starting in 2015, with seed capital from Autodesk, we took steps to grow beyond consulting to a full-fledged, cloud-based SaaS Company and in 2017, Autocase was officially launched.
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of working with industry leaders in commercial real estate, aviation, the AEC community, tech companies, as well as federal, state, and local governments. We’ve provided objective performance data to show billions of dollars in social, environmental, and financial benefits. Thousands of buildings have run through Autocase software. We have informed more than $100B in investments.
Our success has been enhanced through a growing number of partnerships from Autodesk to USGBC and GBCI.
Autocase measures the impact the built environment has on climate change, other environmental outcomes such as water quality, and social impacts such as occupant health and urban heat island impacts, as well as the financial impact to stakeholders. We leveraged cloud-based computing to solve those problems by automating standard analytical approaches for this type of measurement. Our business cases concentrate on returns on investment to stakeholder groups.
Now more than ever, public policy and spending are focused on these same goals:
- Sustainable and resilient buildings and infrastructure
- Decarbonizing the built environment with net zero and net zero ready solutions
- Lifting vulnerable communities through fair and equitable projects
- New reporting requirements, such as ESG reporting
By unleashing the potential of the smartest, most collaborative, and trustworthy professionals, we are informing investment decisions, yielding a more sustainable, resilient and just world. Together we can look beyond short-term interests to build a better future, just like Impact Investors who have turned to Autocase for building and infrastructure performance data they can trust, and for that, we thank you.
