AutoCASETM Receives Provisional Patent

January 7, 2014 (New York City) – Impact Infrastructure, LLC. received a provisional patent for its business case analysis software. AutoCASETM uses risk-adjusted social and environmental metrics to inform public infrastructure investment. Operating as a cloud based plug-in feature for computer aided design (CAD) tools, the software allows project designers and financiers to access financial, as well as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), metrics for infrastructure project designs at a fraction of the cost of customized economic assessments.

Business cases provide a critical advantage in competition for merit based public funding, and they are also essential to securing private “impact” capital in infrastructure projects.

“The creators of AutoCASETM have an $11 billion track record, and are involved in efforts across North America to create sustainability rating tools,” said John Williams, Chairman and CEO of Impact Infrastructure, LLC. “Combined with a joint marketing agreement with Autodesk, the world leader in 3D CAD software, AutoCASETM can become the business case evaluation standard for the infrastructure finance and delivery industry.”

A beta test is planned for the City of Tucson and Pima County, AZ stormwater management infrastructure projects. Commercial release of AutoCASETM is planned for 2014.

Impact Infrastructure, LLC. (www.ImpactInfrastructureLLC.com), is at the center of efforts to create standard risk-adjusted metrics and tools for project valuation. AutoCASETM automates business case analysis and calculates the sustainability impact value (SIV) for infrastructure and public building projects.
